About Billy

Billy spent his early childhood in St. Lawrence Newfoundland and later moved to Liverpool, Nova Scotia. He spent many years working at the Quarterdeck Beachside Villas and Grill and teaching surfing and kayaking at the Rossignol Surf Shop.

 

Billy entered Real Estate in 2004 and had a very successful career working for C.R. Cooks Coldwell Banker. Billy took some time off from Real Estate for a few years to develop his interests in drafting and design.

 

He received his diploma in Mechanical Drafting with honours from NSCC and has worked at a number of companies developing his design skills. Billy has always had a keen interest in architecture and from this has grown a passion for home renovations and home design.

 

Billy re-entered Real Estate in 2011 with a vision and a passion to give his customers an affordable alternative to the high commission rates of selling real estate on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. 

 

He is committed to making real estate services more client friendly, both for home owners and for home buyers.

 

He joined the Flat Rate Realty team to focus on their commitment to bringing a full service Real Estate Company that offers low cost, discount commission rates to the South Shore. 

 

Billy believes that it is time for a revolution in Real Estate and is very excited to bring this Low Cost concept to the South Shore.

 

Billy lives outside Mahone Bay with his partner, Jessica, and their son, Samuel. 

 

In his spare time he enjoys being outside, either working on his home or spending time with his family.  He is also a volunteer firefighter with the local fire department.  Billy is looking forward to working with clients on the South Shore with a new perspective in Real Estate.
